What a useful note contains
A false positive
Name the checker and the rule title, and paste a redacted sentence that should not have matched. “The name Dan is marked critical” is a useful report. A full customer transcript is not.
A missed pattern
Describe the wording in general terms and say which guide should mention it. Do not send a working attack against a system you do not own, and do not send a live key.
A correction
If a guide and the checker disagree, the code is the behavior. Send the page URL and the sentence that is wrong. The guides are listed on the guide index.
What this inbox is not
There is no press desk, no partnership program, and no promise of a reply by a particular day. Mail about the older incident notes is welcome when it corrects a fact. The site does not collect tips through a form on this page, because a form that does not send would waste your time.
The checkers stay in the browser. Emailing a secret so that someone else can run it through the tool is the wrong direction. Run the check yourself, or compare the sentence with the matching guide, and keep the secret out of the message.
